About:

My main research interests are the biosocial and political aspects of infectious disease and person-centred health systems. I am passionate about improving equity and social justice through the tackling social determinants which perpetuate inequalities and vulnerabilities. I have a unique background in nursing, clinical and qualitative research, social anthropology, and health system strengthening research. I have worked in infectious diseases for the past 7 years (tuberculosis, influenza, COVID-19, Onchocerciasis, Schistosomiasis, Lymphatic Filariasis and Soil Transmitted Helminths).
