My name is Samuel Saidu, a Sierra Leonean commonly known as Sammy. I am a PhD student at the LSTM pursuing Global health. I am a researcher and lecturer College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, University of Sierra Leone (COMAHS-USL). I am also a trained and registered pharmacist form COMAHS-USL and practicing community pharmacy in Sierra Leone from. I also currently hold holder a Masters of Public Health degree from BRAC James P. Grant school of public health BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am passionate about leadership and has span from been secretary general and PRO of the pharmacy students association, chairman of the pharmaceutical society of Sierra Leone, Western Area Branch to being a winner of the Sir Hasan Fazle Abed Award for best leadership at BRAC University.
My research interest is currently in improving health in informal settlements through education and co-production of knowledge with deprived communities in the Low and Middle Income Countries like Sierra Leone.
