Currently working as Professor of internal Medicine and Director of Filariasis Research centre in India. Started research and patient care in lymphatic filariasis since 1989 and the results of the studies have helped in policy making in global elimination. Currently involved in training of trainers from endemic countries, WHO regional, international, sunbational levels on morbidity management and disability prevetion in people affected with LF and also enhance community based care and self care for these patients.
